How to Register for Juniors

3rd March 2010: We are still looking for players for J9/10 boys teams
J9/J10 girls teams are now full - registration fees will be refunded

There are two steps you need to complete in order to register for the Hockey Club.

A note before you start

The system requires that each registration has a unique email address. If your family uses a single email address, please read the instructions labeled "What to do if your family uses one email address" on the registration form (just above the request for an email address)

Step 1 - Register

Click on the register link in the News and Information box on the right
Fill in the details on the Registration page. Please fill in all the details on the page as this is important information for the club
Keep the user name and password details somewhere safe because you will need them if you want to buy club merchandise during the year. Passwords only need to be 4 characters long.
If you are a family that uses only one email address click on the extra instructions "What to do if your family uses only one email address" (It is a pop-up) or see below.
Ensure you complete the "Actual Email" box.
Once you have completed the form and clicked the Apply Now button, you will be taken to the payment page. This may take a few seconds so be patient
If you are not immediately after a few seconds to the payment page select Pay Fees from the options on the page you have been diverted to.

What to do if your family uses only one email address

The system the hockey club uses for registering players has a slight drawback - it uses an email address to create a unique identifier. This is fine for a lot of people but for some families who share an email address, this can be a problem.

So, to get around this we have a solution. If you are in this situation do the following steps:

For the first registration use your normal email address eg someone@email.com.au
When the second family member registers, add a number to the end of the email address you enter in the Email and Confirm Email fields eg someone@email.com.au1
In the Actual Email field, enter your proper address eg someone@email.com.au
For each extra member of the family, increment the number on the end of the email address eg someone@email.com.au2 and keep adding the correct email into the Actual Email field

Step 2 - Pay

You are now in the payment gateway.

J 1/2 and J 3/4 juniors $80
All other juniors $140
[Third and subsequent child in a family: 25% rebate on relevant fees - processed manually after payments].

Note: Junior fees are listed in the second table. "Student Player" is a Senior!
"Junior Fees" coverers all juniors except J1/2 and J3/4

Select the appropriate on the page (and only one) and click Add Item to add the item to your shopping cart. A small window will open briefly, if you order does not show next to "Your Cart" immediately after the pop up closes, refresh the page.
To finalise the transaction, Click on the View Cart button. You can also remove incorrect items from your shopping cart on this page.
In the View Cart window you have two options: (A) click on the Check Out With Paypal button - this is a highly secure way to pay but you will need to set up a PayPal account; or (B) click on the Check Out button (just above the Paypal button) - still secure, and payment is still through Paypal but you do not need to set up an account. Note: If you want to pay with a debit card, you will need to sign up to Paypal and follow the instructions.
If you use the Check Out with Paypal option and at the very end you recieve an error message saying "Transaction cannot complete...use an alternative method" you will need to hit the "Try again" button and then proceed with the Check Out button.
